Description

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Nairobi airport for a transfer to your hotel. Check in, relax and your guide will help you to orientate yourself on places to visit within Nairobi. You will be staying at the After 40 Hotel. http://www.after40hotel.com/ on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru 

Morning departure to Lake Nakuru National park for a special sighting of the rare black rhino (an endangered species), one of the big five animals. After, enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate

Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter depart to Hell’s Gate National Park for a mini safari. Enjoy an evening boat on Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha national park has unique features like an extinct volcano called Mount Longonot, a thick forest that is found along the crater Mountain. The park is dominated by Umbrella Acacia trees that are mostly found along the banks of the lake.Lake Naivasha is famous for its high populations of hippos and flamingos. There are over 1,500 hippos in the area, and you are almost guaranteed to see one. The lake is a birder’s paradise as it is home to over 400 bird species.

Day 4: Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, start the safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive in the camp in time for lunch .Check in and have lunch. In the evening at 4:00pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high which lasts for 2 hours ,ends at 6:00pm.

Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

 Day 5: Full day Maasai Mara

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 6: Maasai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania Border

 Breakfast at 6 am and then depart for Serengeti Through the Isebania border; Arrive border at Lunch time.30 Minutes process of getting visa. Hand over to our Tanzanian driver and cook. In Tanzania we use 4 wheel drive land cruiser. evening game drive en route to the camp.

Day 7: Full day in Serengeti

Set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. A scenic four hour drive, full day game drive together with late evening game drive.

Serengeti National Park (Serengeti) is located in Tanzania, best known for its abundance of animals and the great wildebeest migration .The Serengeti stretches 14,763 (5,700 sq miles) stretching North to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the West. Serengeti has the highest concentration of large mammals on this planet and its famous known for its 2,500 Lions the largest concentration found anywhere. The park also has over 518 identified bird species where some of them are Eurasian migrants who are present in the European winter months from October to April.

Day 8 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro, where the night will be spent on the Crater Rim.

Day 9: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

Early breakfast, proceed directly to the Crater floor for a full day crater tour with picnic lunches. Later proceed to Lake Manyara.

Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years.

Day 10: Lake Manyara to Arusha  

After breakfast, proceed for a full day game drive in beautiful Manyara National Park. See buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Proceed to Arusha for drop off.

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority, and covers an area of 325 km² including about 230 km² lake surface.

Day 11: Arusha to Nairobi

Breakfast and shuttle back to Nairobi to be dropped at the airport.

The first shuttle leaves at 7 am and arrives Nairobi around 2 pm.  We have another shuttle for 9 am that arrives Nairobi at 4 pm and the last one for 11 am that arrive Nairobi at 5 pm
