The Funzi archipelago is situated approximately 35 km south of Diani Beach Kenya, a spectacular destination to explore Kenya’s south coast. A trip to Funzi will enable you to immerse yourself in breathtaking scenery at the heart of a bay full of islands protected by a coral reef.
At Funzi, we will take you on an adventure-filled day through a maze of mangroves in a motorised canoe. Your tour begins with a trip up the Ramisi River which flourishes with exceptional birdlife.
Enjoy a stop on the sandbank which ensures you are at the most beautiful spot on the coast for swimming and making the most of this little piece of paradise. Remember to carry your towel, sunscreen, and beach sandals.
Later visit a village on Funzi island for those who so desire. Lunch will be served at a restaurant on the island. Have a taste of the local delicacies. After relaxing return to the mainland by boat, drop off at your hotel at 1700hrs.
