FULL DAY WASINI ISLAND, SNORKELING AND SHIMONI CAVES TOUR WITH OVERNIGHT TO TSAVO EAST PARK
Day 1: Wasini Island, snorkelling and Shimoni Caves
06:00 – 07:30 AM: Hotel Pickup
Pick up at 6:00 AM for guests in Mombasa and 7:30 AM for those in Diani Beach Hotels
08:30 – 09:30 AM: Arrival & Dhow Boarding
Arrive at the Shimoni jetty to clear park fees and board a traditional Arabic dhow.
09:30 – 12:00 PM: Dolphin Spotting & Snorkeling
Sail to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park. Programs include approximately 2 hours for dolphin watching and snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs.
12:30 – 02:00 PM: Seafood Lunch on Wasini Island
Enjoy a Swahili-style seafood lunch (often featuring crab, fish, and coconut rice, we have an option for the non-seafood that is vegetarian/ chicken).
02:00 – 03:30 PM: Village & Nature Walk
Explore Wasini Village, visit the Wasini Women’s Group Coral Garden, and walk along the mangrove boardwalk.
03:30 – 04:30 PM: Shimoni Slave Caves Tour
After sailing back to the mainland, take a 30-minute guided tour of the historic Shimoni Slave Caves to learn about the 18th and 19th-century slave trade.
04:30 – 06:00 PM: Return Transfer
Depart from Shimoni for drop-off at your hotel either in Mombasa or diani beach
Day 2: Mombasa/Diani to Tsavo East Park
You will be picked from your Hotel at 6.00am in the morning, drive to Tsavo East and arrive at the gate at around 9:00 am. Here you will begin your game watch. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by British Army 1952 during Colonial time.) After the game drive, you will heck in at the Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax till 4 :00 pm and then begin an evening game drive until sundown.

Day 3: Tsavo East – Nairobi, Mombasa or Diani Beach
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast then checkout, proceed with a game drive en route to the gate. Then exit and start the drive to Mombasa or Diani for your drop off.

Tips on what to bring on Wasini tour: Bring along your towels, sun cream/lotion, sunglasses , caps/hats, extra drinking water, swimming costume and sandals. Snorkeling gear (mask, tuba, life jackets) will be lent for free. Flippers are available for hire.
